"The Natural Way to Write! Give your children the gift of legible writing! Use the program homeschoolers prefer because it makes sense!
- Effective
- Easy to teach
- Fun to learn
- Legible because it’s loop-free!
- Smooth transition from print to cursive – no need to learn two completely different alphabets
The child initially learns the basic italic printed letterforms followed by the cursive italic through a series of joins, eliminating the need to learn two distinctly different types of handwriting, as is the case with the ball and stick printing and looped cursive most often taught in schools.
Italic handwriting is distinctive and surprisingly easy to teach and learn. Once you try it, no other handwriting will compare with its simplicity, legibility and beauty.
The main philosophy behind the Getty-Dubay Italic Handwriting Series is to teach children and adults a legible handwriting method that is retained over time. The root of the letterform is used, nothing more, resulting in a crisp, clear handwriting that is as simple as it is elegant.
